The island of
Corfu is situated in front of the Coast of Albania and Greece, in
the Ionian Sea. Its mild and humid climate, combined with heavy
rainfalls in the winter, gives it a luxurious vegetation. Corfu is
known for its beautiful nature and mountainous landscape. The
beaches of the island are beautifully clean and safely shelve into
a sparkling clear sea. Combined with the Venetian architecture of
Corfu-Town and the simple Corfiot style of building seen in the
villages nestling in the mountains it makes Corfu a perfect choice
for everyone. |

- The resort of Barbati lies at the foot
of the "Pantokrator", with its 906 meters, the highest
mountain of the island. Its Central location, some 30 minutes north of
Corfu-Town and the Airport, makes it an excellent choice for a holiday

- The long wide pebble beach shelves gently into crystal clear water,
making it perfectly safe for children. Nestling in the shade of the
olive trees are a few "Tavernas" serving lunch and
refreshments. On the beach itself we find a Water-sports Club, Motor
& Speed boat Rental etc. The sea is ideal for those who like
snorkeling.
- The village itself has a quiet idyllic environment with some nice
family run restaurants/tavernas, serving traditional Greek and Corfiot
specialities, and shops.
- For those who like the night life, there is Ipsos laying within 5
kilometers away. There you will find a great variety of restaurants,
shops, bars and nightclubs.
