Hey went to FALIRAKI on the 25th july-9th aug 2001! and it was amazing! we were six girls from southend, essex and were staying in the lyrisitis apartments near the orion restaurant! went on a few twentys things with mark and shaun! mainly stayed in club street GERORGES BAR- dan,matt,tyler,andy! REFLECTIONS-adam! and ART BAR-rich and wayne! sinners was also great! we loved every minute out there a big hello to our rep pete and the manchester lads and london lads in our apartments! next year we r off to MALIA!!!!!

I just came back from Dasia, chandris hotel, loved my time there, very friendly, nice place to stay. The weather wasn't really good, we had 2 days rain...but it was warm anyway, so... 1 bad thing about Corfu: The environment is so nice, yet the people there don't seem to care, trash lies everywhere, around the most beautiful houses, and in the middle of nowhere you find cars, old washing machines, motorcycles, and stoves, in the greatest area's that are treated like trashplaces. It's a shame I think, so to all people of Corfu, be proud of what you have, and don't throw it away, think and clean up, after it's too late. The cars they drive in are old, and very bad for the environment, so...and please, take good care of all the cats and dogs that are there, not having food or attention.In spite of this all: I had a nice time!

Corfu is Brilliant. I recommend it as we had a brilliant time. ME and my girlfriend went and enjoyed it so much I wonna still be there. We met a nice couple when we were there to ANDY and send me an email if your reading this. We stayed at St GEorge and it was quality the place is wicked.

Corfu is amazing. Me and my girlfriend got back last week and it was the best holiday Iv ever had. It is hot which is nice compared to shitty England.THe people are generally nice and helpful. We stayed at St.George, south of the island and it was a brilliant place.

The Gondola is a massive shit hole, but at least it has a bed and a roof over your heads. falaraki is superb and i had a wicked holiday. You'll still enjoy yourself but remember to lock your doors as or you'll pay. A big shout out to the Hertfordshire lasses we met at the Moscha apartments!

13 Geordie lads just got back from 2 weeks in FALIRAKI. Pissed every night it was superb. The 18-30 Gondola is the biggest shithole on the whole island avoid it if you can. There were fishbowls bigger than the baths in the Gondola, and 2 of the lads got broken into and had all their stuff nicked. Faliraki itself though is the best... Oh and don't go to the kebab shop on the corner they short change you whenever they can. I paid £9.70 for a chicken kebab.

If you are a romantic visiting "Kampielo" at night, it is a fantastic experience, especially if you are with the right person, but I warn you, keep way from that "Venetian Well" restaurant. Kavos is not just the biggest Shit pit in Corfu, but also houses the biggest bunch of shit heads from the UK. For you daft twats who think your getting a good deal on the booze must be either stupid or from Manchester (as they can't take there beer either). All the shorts are watered down at least 50% with the exception of Jungle Bar at the end of the main street. Me and my Girlfriend left Kavos within two days after seeing someone severing there tendents in there foot by just running down Kavos beach and slipping onto a broken bottle. There are also many accidents with scooters in the resort (some of them have been Fatel). We stayed in St.George which has the best beaches on the Island, dosent smell of shit, has great people of all nations and has no pissed up staggering foul mouthed larger twats throwing up all over the place. For those Holiday makers going all the way to corfu just to pull a bird have be fuckin loosers anyway. Do us all a favour, stay @ home. See you in July St.george.

Hi everyone, just got back form Kavos and today and I hate to spoil it for those of you that are going soon but it is a really bad holiday resort. its the worst place I've ever been on holiday without doubt, I wouldn't agree with some of the things people have been saying about them being up to their knees in piss and shit but I did see a few traces of dog excrement on the beach and in the sea which was unpleasant. No dead dogs to report although it does smell as bad as what people have been saying unfortunately. And the main reason its such a bad place there are just too many blokes and not enough ladies to go around plus all the lads are bad boys wanting to fight all the time. I've just come back from Kavos and it was excellent. I'm going back next friday (30th july) and am hoping to stay out there for the rest of the summer. I can recommend the Buzz Bar, Empire (3 cocktails for 1000DRS which is about £2) Futures, and the two new clubs Whispers and Limelights. Everywhere is lively at night and during the day theres the ringoes which are a good laugh and the "sexy doughnut man" is always amusing. Basically it is an excellent holiday which I want to extend! We would really recommend anyone who plan to visit Corfu to visit Kerkyra old town, Paleokastritsa and the country side with villages and secluded beaches. Don´t miss the underwater world, which is quite unique and with incredibly clear view. And do try some of the local specialities in small restaurants. The food is excellent, especially in the taverns that don´t have fancy furniture and menues. Here you will find the strongest garlic !

We're off to Corfu in September. It will be my 6th visit, although I haven't been in the last 5 years! Friday 4th September for 2 whole weeks, I can't wait!! I have enjoyed your very professional homepage about my favourite place on earth. Regarding your information for the tourists I will suggest, though, that you also emphasize the many cultural events and sights on Corfu. During the summer there is always something going on in Corfu city. A religious event, a concert etc. And there are many beautiful old buildings and ruins. Of course I am sure that you think nothing of it. Maybe you take it for granted. But not all countries or islands are so full of life and have such a rich heritage. My whole family love Corfu and have been going every year for the last 12 years and we have many Greek friends in Gouvia which is on the west side of the island and very close to Dassia.
